College admissions counselor and consultant Nancy Ikenberry of Brightline Admissions.

Nancy Ikenberry is the founder of Brightline Admissions and has spent over three decades engaged in the life of universities from Houston to Seattle, and Champaign to Boulder. For thirty-five years, she has developed a heart for college-bound students and a desire to see them transition to independence and college success. Brightline Admissions captures her unique perspective and brings a fresh approach to college admissions counseling.

Nancy received her Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA in 2018 with distinction — completing her college counseling practicum at the Dawson School, a private school in Boulder County, Colorado. Nancy also advised the Keith Country Day School in Rockford, Illinois on its college counseling curriculum and provided personalized application assistance to its senior class.

Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Nancy graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with both Bachelor’s and MBA degrees in Finance. She has two grown children and resides in Boulder, Colorado with her husband, a member of the University of Colorado faculty.

Nancy is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), and currently serves as President of the College Consultants of Colorado. She subscribes to the profession’s Principles of Good Practice.
